hiii .. who can help me to resolve :

i need to check if exists one record exist

my variables are:

user
prg
id_num

the records are ( 1,1,2 ) ( 1,1,3)

i want to do:

when i try to add a record check if ( 1,1,2 ) exists then show a msg " this record exist"
