I did what rew-NZ advised but it doesn't work in my app. (To insert the desired forms into the update panel.) I set the refresh properties too.
Unfortunately, after this clicking on the grid's link, the page returns to the first tab.

Nobody have any idea for that problem?
(To prevent that the page jump to the first tab after refresh.)

Have you tried it in Firefox to see if the "Error Console" displays any javascript errors?

I entered in a bug on this. It worked in 4.0 but not in 4.1. Support says they can reproduce it. Hopefully will be patched soon.

I have this problem and update panels not working inside tabs.
Has this been fixed or is there a work round?
