Hi everybody, i searched in the forum and i did not find anything, so i'm writing here (move this topic if it's OT here...):

i just installed CCS 4.0, trial version: i'm doing the "halloworld" tutorial and i cannot manage to publish files: when, at the end of the tutorial i press F9, the log shows "generating common files" but no files are created and moved into "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\halloworld" ... can anyone help me?
thanx...

Welcome to this forum harlock,

Does this directory really exist? Can you show us a screenshot showing the publishing section from your project settings (Alt + F7, then click on the publishing page)?

Regards,
Jack

If I create a new project and don't edit any project settings I'll be asked if I want to create the destination directory (where the publishing will store the files).

Looks like this.

Something seems to be wrong. If you really publish the whole project (F9), it would also generate the page 'halloworld' and not only the common files...

Please close the project, create a new, empty one and hit only F9. It should ask you if you want to create the destination directory (after you hit ok on the project settings screen that pops up automagically) and after that publishes _all_ files including the 'NewPage1' (standard page after creating a new project)...

Regards,
Jack
