How do i connect to a MySQL database when i am setting up the site in datalink properties. I tried the OLE DB Provider for SQL Server. but that did not work. So what should i use? or if that is it. how should it work.

You need to download and install the MyODBC
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-myodbc-2.50.html
