If you create a menu items within a table in an include page, you keep getting '--> -->' under the menu item.

I have no idea where this is coming from.

Any ideas what this is from or how to remove them?

Thanks,

Trevor

You can remove from HTML tab

Edit page and

Just erase '--->---' characters

Very simple

Hi Edigital,

Thanks for the reply but there are no '--->' in the HTML at all. The page is an include page with a menu inside a table cell (or panel which makes no difference at all) and neither in HTML or PHP are there any '--->' marks. Really strange!

Regards,

Trevor

It is in the html, a comment gone wrong I think. This has been around for a while and wont occur if you do a quick publish while viewing the include page in html.

Cheers for now,

Did you delete the previous arrows first? You need to delete them from the html code and then publish from there.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

There are no arrows in the HTML code to delete. That is the weird part.

Hi Trevor,

Look in the html at the menu tags and see if you see the following:

</div>
--> <!-- END Menu Menu1 -->

The arrow to the left of the <!-- is the problem. You need to delete this. You may find there are several together i.e. -->-->-->
These appear to be a problem with code generation where a comment has been fragmented.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

Thanks so much. Don't know how I missed the arrows before but there they are, as clear as daylight! Appreciate your help very much.

Cheers for now,

Trevor
