I have used the export-to-excel several times, but I never needed to filter the data, until now. I have a search record on one page that sends the data to a grid on a second page (export to excel page). The grid shows x records, but when I export it, all of the table shows up in excel spreadsheet. I have seen several posts here on this same topic and not real solutions except for a third party tool. I want CodeCharge to do all of the work like it is supposed to.
any and all help apprecated....

I create a page in the normal way and add the grid which will show data based on the parameters passed in the url and any session variables. Then I add the usual header code into before show event" and that's it. I do it with both excel and word docs.
I don't add any style info either.
