I have a perfectly working record grid with a FileUpload component. No errors.

Now I want to try AJAX and place an Update Panel at the top of the page.
I pull the record grid into this Update Panel and CCS crashes. Okay, annoying, but this can happen.

I start CCS again and try the same procedure again. This time CCS doesn't crash. pfff.

Now, I publish and refresh the page again and I try in Live view if I can still upload files. Nope, I see this error appearing:

The file attachment in field 0 is required

I also see an error sign in the left bottom of my browser, saying:

this.container is empty or no object

I will send a ticket to the CCS helpdesk, but maybe somebody in this forum knows what to do.

I have a reply of support dept.:

Unfortunately FileUpload cannot work under UpdatePanel as JavaScript has no means of dynamically uploading files, and upload itself requires page refresh (so it contraditcs the Ajax concept). This can only be done in a custom way not related to CCS, possibly using an iframe or Flash/Java applets.
