Hi folks,
I have spent the last two hours trying to work out
why a flash builder page works under Windows
Apache MySQL but not Linux Apache MySQL.
does anyone else have this issue and if so have
you managed to cure it yet?
thanks
Tony

Tony, smells like a path and/or permissions issue. Check to make sure
the flash file(s) got published in the place(s) you expect.

Hi,
The entire source tree was copied verbatim to the Linux box.
The start of the Flash Graph appears but the data is not seen.
In other words the plot points do not appear nor does the legend.
I have tried setting the R/W perms to so many variations that they
are no basically r/w for the whole world and still no plot.
I have just built another box and tried the page on the new box
and it works fine.
Any ideas welcome!!!

I had the same problem using the Flash charts on Linux. Couldn't make it work.
So I gave up on the built in chart builder feature.

Some thoughts... Did your rebuild include another Linux machine? Are
you browsing to the page via another Windows machine or the Linux
machine's own X browser?

Hi folks,
I may have an answer shortly. The new server (linux CENTOS 5) actually works with the Flash
Chart Builder. I am investigating the why today by trying to upgrade the server in error.
The new build was a new server with v 5.1 of CentOS and everything else is the same.
