CCS: What is the best event for changing titles?

I have a title/text that I'd like to change under program control. I want to
use $Tpl->SetVar() to change it. I thought I could use the Before Show > Custom Code
event for the grid. Unfortunately I can't see any way of referencing the $Tpl
class from here. I thought they might pass the $Tpl to this event (why don't they?).
Can titles be changed in events? Or should I add the code directly into the Display event?
TIA

This should be quite simple. Or is everyone stumped?

You mean you went back to CC? Chicken!<bg> Where is your sense of adventure?
But I see your point. If I want to remain productive, CCS is too complex and
without adequate documentation, I find I'm spending a lot of time spinning my
wheels. I think I'm down to my rims now and the sparks are starting to annoy the
neighbors.<g> (This is typical for most beta software.) Something simple like
this could be done in CC in seconds. I've been waiting for a reply now for
a few days. Bummer. :(

Im also trying to establish ways of setting Page and form titles

In CC you could address a CC variable called
(lets see if I remembered right) PageTitle
Yes Ive looked in the generated files
No go yet
Im trying to do a var dump to see what names are being used but its not working yet
The CC personnel dont seem to have time right now to repond with their kind soltutions and suggestions

probably hard at work with the CCS release

really miss Alex and Nicole
