Okay, I'm stumped. Caveat at the outset: I'm not sure CC, per se, has anything to do with this issue, but I'm hoping this may be a "known issue" that some of you have solved.
I'm using CC 2.0, Access 2000, ASP w/o templates.
On text label fields called from BOTH Access text and memo fields, the last line of text has extra space (leading) above it (even with multiple paragraphs, it's only the last line of the last paragraph with the problem). Also, the very start of the label has an extra space inserted in front of it (like a 1-2 character width indent).
Oddly (to me at least), this problem only seems to occur with test in CC record forms, not grid forms.
I've tried to overcome this problem by modifying my site.css file, but to no avail. I've also played with other options, such as displaying the labels as text or html, but this tinkering has had no effect either.
Could it be that somehow vb constants similar to "vbCRLF" are being inserted that I need to strip out or replace?
Thanks.

Rob,
as I understand you use ASP.
Try to use Trim() function to truncate leading and trialing spaces in the field value.
I.e. put into Before Show event code similar to:
fldfield_name = Trim(fldfield_name)

Nicole,
Thank you for that lead. Trim didn't happen to do the trick but following on your thought I manipulated the field strings in various ways. Since I don't know what's driving this, I just cast about through trial and error.
I didn't get anywhere adding " " to the end of the field, but both adding a trailing "<br>" and enclosing the field in a <div> </div> pair fixed the problem...but at the expense of adding an extra return at the end of the field. I'm not sure if that's an asthetic improvement or not.
Anyway, I'm hoping that these further notes will trigger another idea that will solve the problem. Regardless, however, thanks for your help Nicole.
