Hi

Like Markie is trying to find out. The navigator only appears when your grid has exceeded the number of records you specified in the grid properties and requires two pages or more to display them all.

If you have set your grid properties to 500 on a page the navigator will not appear until your query returns 501 records.

Make sense?

if you view the page.html instead of page.php do you see the navigator?
if you view the source of your html page do you se something like this?
            <!-- BEGIN Navigator Navigator -->
            <!-- BEGIN First_On --><a href="{First_URL}">|<</a> <!-- END First_On -->
            <!-- BEGIN Prev_On --><a href="{Prev_URL}"><<</a> <!-- END Prev_On --> {Page_Number} of {Total_Pages}
            <!-- BEGIN Next_On --><a href="{Next_URL}">>></a> <!-- END Next_On -->
            <!-- BEGIN Last_On --><a href="{Last_URL}">>|</a> <!-- END Last_On --><!-- END Navigator Navigator -->

is the following line in your page.php file?
include_once(RelativePath . "/Navigator.php");
does the navigator.php file exist on your server?
is the case correct?
have you regenerated the project?

Your right damian.

If I was him i would look and see if even though he has changed the 500 count value in the properties for the grid size to something smaller, if any common code has changed the value in the main page will not get set properly.

Wonder if he has looked at the code to actually see the number the navagator is really using for grid size? hint.hint.

I also kinda wonder what the giant not resolved at the top of this post is supposed to do..:-O

I'd recommend simplifying it down to the most basic project in which you still see the problem and then send that to YES. if that is not possible then sending the whole project would be good if they will accept that.

create a new project with the same database settings etc
backup your broken database
copy all the common files from the new project to the broken one

or

recreate your project

or

send it to Yes like they asked

Hi

IF a new project from scratch works ok, that implies it's a problem with one of the common files since I think you said all pages fail with navigator.

One thing to try is after you have created a new project and set DB connections up and verify the new project works, copy one page from the broken project. ie: all 4 files for a single page from the broken project.

for exampe. a page in the broken project called xxx copy xxx.php, xxx.html., xxx_events.php, and xxx.ccp to the new project folder.

Now see if the broken page starts to work in the new project folder.

This will tell you if CCS has messed up the page files or a common file somewhere in the project.

If it works, that means you can fix the broken project by moving all the page files to the new project from the broken one.

Also, it is OK to send your project to Yes. I've had to do that several time before as if it is a CCS issue they will have all they need to troubleshoot and provode a fix for everyone.

Have fun

Your problem may be solved with an update to the latest version also.
By doing the update, all of your common files will be regenerated, which
is where your problem lies.
