First of all let me say I'm a relative novice when it womes to web design
I'm trying to integrate a CCS application into an exsiting website
The site uses style sheet and the content is CENTERED on the page.
I've added the relevant code to my CCS pages (both via HEADER / FOOTER pages
in CSS and by adding
the ncessary code directly to the CCS pages.
Dreamweaver reports no browser incompatibility
The site looks fine in Firefox and Chrome but with IE7 ALL the CCS pages
come out on the LEFT
rather than CENETRED.
Anyone come across this??
Are there any resources I can use to find and rectify the problem ??
(I have googled a lot but no solution .... YET!!)
Any help much appreciated.

it is usually much easier to imprt your website into ccs than the other way around - however if you have that working the issue is to do with the CCS styles - or the other possibility that i have encounterred is this tag (or variation) that is sometimes inserted by CCS -
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
which on removal allowed me to format correctly....

The whole layout to the left?
If you're using a layout from CCS on your components, thats the problem, you're importing the stylesheet for that layout, usually those layouts modify the html, body, tags. Or maybe some tag names are collapsing.
recomendation: Stop Using Dreamweaver :S for compability issues, install FireBug for firefox and check what css property is affecting your layout.
