Take a look at PC Mag article: http://www.pcmag.com/article/0,2997,s=1470&a=26198,00.asp
I much prefer CCS, but it is not mentioned. ?

Looks like CCS is already mentioned there, although not by the editor :-)
Why do you care anyway. I'm just testing how CCS works with Dreamweaver and the combination of both may actually work well.

CCS is not mentioned because CCS is not as popular as Dreamweaver MX, and D.MX has more users and more communities, more supports, more value. CCS is just only a self-contained application and do not have marketing strategy for the future.

So tell us how you really feel, John.

Everyone has their own preference, so why knock CCS? Just use your Dreamweaver and you'll be just fine.

And your point is?

Sorry John, I read the article and don't see what your point is either.
The PC Mag article mentions only 4 products for producing database driven web pages.
Certainly DreamWeaver is more popular than everyone else, but that's
not to say being more popular means you have a better product. CCS has the
potential for being in the top 3 and they have a lot of talented programmers to
back it up.

What was the point you were trying to make?

I'm sorry, but macromedia products dont hold a candle to codecharge...especially studio, for the server side db code. I have used flash since version 3, fireworks, dreamweaver, and ultradev I tried but about wet myself trying not to laugh at the uselessness compared to codecharge. The only thing macromedia is good for is flash and dreamweaver. They should stay the hell outta the server side database code.

Although, I suppose if others use it, and I use CCS, I will have a major advantage. Once I learned CC, I never used MM for anything but html editing, and some js popup goodies. I am trying to figure out the mystery behind Johns URL....I'll pass on wasting the time.

I hope codecharge stays on the track thier current track, I think at the rate they are going, nothing will be able to take them outta the market, especially for the same price. Although studio is $499, I think it's right in line with macromedia's products that cannot do as much. Also remember, codecharge has a year or more experience under their belt more than macromedia for the server side code generation products. Wonder if macromedia will try and buy Yessoftware too? :).

O horror... MM butchered Drumbeat, I would hate to see that happen to CCS
