I have upgraded to CCS 4.1.00.032 (the very latest version as far as I can tell - downloaded a couple of days ago)

I am now getting a strange crash. CCS goes down when I try to generate a page after changing "Styles" for the page or a component. It does that systematically on some pages, erratically on others. I do not know if there are some pages where it is ok.

So if I press F8 or <ctrl>F8 I get the following:

A dialog box appears saying: Error during page publishing.

Error occurring while transforming
Module Generator

Error: Internal Error. Error occurred while generating the page.
Error: Error occurred while generating the page XYZ.php

I do not know if I will ever be able to publish that page - have not tried saving a backup as I have been focusing on the error.

Help appreciated.

FOLLOWUP:

It seems that the crash does not occur only after style changes but on pages where I have modified the layout considerably by hand - it seems ok on pages generated by the wizard.

I had NO problems with older versions of CCS. I may have to reinstall an older version - let's see what people think.

I also had this problem, so i contacted support and got the following solution:

Quote :
Please install a new CCDB.dll file that should fix the problem.

For this back up the existing CCDB.dll file located in your CodeChargeStudio4.1.00.032 installation folder and download the patch from:

http://support.yessoftware.com/files/CCdb.zip

Extract the new CCDB.dll in your CodeChargeStudio4.1.00.032 folder replacing the original CCDB.dll.

After that register this dll manually using regsvr32 command, like:
regsvr32.exe CCDB.dll

Run CCS and try to reproduce the problem. It should disappear. This patch should be include in the next CCS update.

Works for me, however I've had to re-run the dll when I installed the latest version of codecharge
