i want to create a latest news box on a website and instead of displaying the last x brief articles or all brief articles with x number of days i would like to display one at a time in an ajax component and every 30seconds move to the next one and around and around....
have any of you seen any good tutorials out there? i am pretty slow to learn new things so if you've seen a good tutorial please share...

damian,
I posted an example of how I update a grid periodically in a page using AJAX at

It includes all the code needed to sart and maintain a timer.
