I have a new style that was created on one computer. The project was copied to another computer, and now the style isn't available for new pages. The pages that were previously created still appear to work with the old style, and the style is in the directory where the project is stored. But the style doesn't appear to be available to add as the default for the project or even to use on a new page.

There must be some way to add the style back in so that it can be used. Can somebody help?

Thanks,
Dave

Not sure this is the only solution but that has happened to me before when I migrated to another computer.
Luckily I still had access to the original computer.
on the original computer look under program files/ code charge / styles or themes and copy your new style/theme to the new computer.
Unfortunately it was not obvious to me that I had to also back up that data along with the project.

So that the style is available within CCS itself (selectable, editable,
etc.), you'll need to copy it into your \Program
Files\CodeChargeStudio(3/4)\Components\Styles directory.

I copied the new style to the Components\Styles directory, but I still don't see it within the different "Styles" screens in CCS... Is there something else I need to do?

Thanks,

This is what I did in the past.

1). go to styles and duplicate one of the existing styles and name it the same as you want.
2). close CCS
3). copy the existing files you want back into the pf/ccs/components/styles folder.
4). restart CCS
5) go back in style tool and modify the style you want and save it again.
6). reopen your project and go to styles and rebuild the style

Let me know if this works for you.
