Hi

There has, in the past, been much interest in a CMS to be developed in CCS.

Here is one just made available by Rick Metecky called Quick Site.

http://ccselite.com/online_store.php?pid=25

QuickSite is a full web site developed in CCS 3.2 that has a modular structure and is totally database driven. It is meant to be a tutorial or a starter for any CCS developer to create a web site quickly and easily. It has been converted to CCS 4.1 with no problems and I can provide you a copy if you need it.

QuickSite has many features built in. These include:

Multi-step User Registration including email verification
Lost password reset
Statistics and hit counter
User Directory with "Who's online?"
Event Calendar
Database driven content pages
Business location page with multiple locations and Google Maps links
Site News
Personal Messages
User "My Account" page
Guestbook with Captcha
FAQ
Weblog
User selectable Styles/Themes
Full Administration Menu
Blocked IP address database for troublesome users

You can see a demo at http://www.mentecky.com/quicksite

This is the code that CCSElite was built on.

Using this project it is very simple to get a working site by simply changing a few files and editing the configuration.

Your purchase entitles you to use this code as you see fit in your web sites and your customer's web sites. You may even delete my copyright in the footer file.

There is a README.TXT file that describes most of what you need to do to set it up. You will need some MySQL knowledge to get the database created but I supply the script.

If you don't use the entire thing, there is plenty of code and ideas that I am sure you'll get your investment back.

Hello jjrjr1

Nice work, I wonder if there is the possibility to see the admin area?, like in the CCS4 demo store, can you provide a demo access to the admin area in order to see the way content is updated?

Thanks a lot
Regards
