Hi,
I have configured 2 dependent listboxes on a page and it all works good most of the times. Only sometimes in IE7, it doesn't fill the slave listbox with the correct values.
Service page runs without any errors and outputs correct values. JSON is finely formatted. There is no funny characters in the data. I have put some alert messages inside onSuccess function of the dependent listbox javascript and it does alert the values of the output correctly. For some reason though after the whole process ends, it doesn't fill up the slave listbox with right values.
I have forwarded this to CodeCharge support and yet to get a proper response back from them. Their attitude towards this has been like "because it's random we cannot investigate it". Reason I have posted it here on the forums is because I was not sure if it's just me who is having this problem. I can reproduce it here on a completely new project too. My clients can see it every single day. Yes software however, cannot investigate because it's random.
Has anyone else come across this kind of problem?
Regards,
Hiral

It is reproducible if your back end database is DB2
I have report this in Mar 2008 and report it again 3 weeks ago.
The problem still not fix

I'm using 4.1 and have the exact same problem. I'm in the middle of a project that is due by the end of the week, so I'm not comfortable upgrading CodeCharge Studio to the latest version for fear that I will end up with a broken utility.
Anyhow, I spent about an hour trying to figure out the problem behind the dependent list box issue, to no avail.
I had to purchase CodeCharge Tools (http://www.codechargetools.com) in order to get the Google Map and PayPal shopping features, so I figured I'd give the Dependent Listbox feature they wrote a try -- it works!!!
