I can edit and publish the code in my _events.php file in two ways:
1) By selecting from 'Pages' the ccp file and then going to the code tab editing something and hitting F8
- Codecharge then takes up to 10 seconds to:
- Generate the ccp
- Generate Common Files
- Generate multiple Include files
- Generate multiple Services
- Publish the files
2) By selecting the _events.php file directly from the Files tab, editing something and hitting F8
- Codecharge takes under a second to publish only the php file.
Method 1 can be quite time consuming when making constant changes.
I think Codecharge should keep track and only publish the files that have been changed.

3) Hitting CTRL+F8 will publish only that page, instantly: page.html, page.php, page_events.php and page_events.js if exists. will not generate included files, only current page.
Enjoy

Correction: Ctrl-F8
or the Publish Page button in the toolbar.
or Project -> Quick Publish
