Hi all,
I have just upgraded from CodeCharge Studio 4.0 to 4.2. My main problem is that all my old pages which have date and time fields are working ok. When I create a new page and I want to record the date and time, the following issues arise:
1,
Date records to 2001-01-01 00:00:00
However, if I record time in a separate field, the time is recorded into the database (MySQL) correctly. Date however still remains 2001-01-01

2,
When I create a page to retrieve this information, the datetime, or date alone is returning blank.

What should I do to resolve this issue. I believe it is a bug with CCS 4.2. If that is the case, is there any one with a link that I could use to correct my problem?

Note: I am using MySQL 5.0; PHP5; Apache 2.2 and of course I am doing this in windows.

thanks
Antony

Have you checked if your database date field is set to DATE? It must be DATETIME.

Also check in your field's properties Format and DBFormat

In this case, the database is Datetime. even when i change it to date it does not work.

Let me put the case again
===
I created a database (mysql 5.x latest) which has a field type datetime. Previously when using CSS4.1 I could save datetime or date (using a created input page) and retrieve the saved information using a retrieving page. However, when I upgraded to CCS4.2 the same pages are now retrieving blank for the datetime or date fields but works fine for all the other fields that i have on the same page. when saving datetime, it does not save the selected datetime it saves 2001-01-01.

Now this is strange because I have been using CCS since version 3.0 and I have always upgraded to the latest version without a hitch.

Are there suggestions out there even from CCS team that can help me resolve the issue?

Where is PETERR? You have gone quiet on this issue.

Thanks
