I am trying to implement a way by which a user can browse for a file and as soon as a file is selected it should start getting uploaded with progress bar.
Can someone guide me in implementing such functionality in CCS?

You can do that in CCS today.
All but the progress bar.
You can look into the Uber Uploader Script.
Free I think..
I have always thought that would be a fun project to integrate that into CCS.
Maybe I will.

Hi,
One of our customers uses SWFUpload with CCS Ajax features for this, including the progress bar. They use ASP.NET(C#) InMotion, but should be doable in PHP as well.
This may not very simple, I'm just pointing to it as possible direction.
