CCS 4.2
What connection string (procedure) is necessary to connect CCS to a MS SQL Server 2005 running on Windows Server 2003 via IP. The IIS destination server is on the same box. I know this question has been asked on the forum before, but there are no answers to be found.

Hi,
I just click "Build" , select OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, then enter the same info as in MS SQL Server Manager (or copy it from MS SQL Server Manager). Then the program builds the connection string automatically, so I don't have to remember the structure.
This way I also avoid any problems because if I can connect from MS SQL Server Manager then I can also connect from CCS. Plus MS SQL Server shows the server name too, so I don't have to know or remember it. For example on my local computer I see the server name as "MyComputerName\SQLEXPRESS", so I copy this server name into CCS.
