I want to select some records from one server and insert into a Different Server,any ideas?

what we are doing right now is
open 2 Connection (both server)
and copy from one connection to another safe fields value in temporary variable
and the Insert.
another method if tehre are too many records is Open one connection create a Text File with the Records and the Import to the 2nd Tablbe / server
both work ok
