OK, assuming I'm a complete idiot, what are the steps necessary to establish a connection to an MS Access database while using FrontPage?

Jeff,
in case you're using CCS FrontPage AddIn db connect settings are the same as in CCS. Please refer to CCS tutorial for more information about db connection. You'll find link at:
