How can I turn off this prompt I am receiving? After I do a code generation and then go to edit code, it gives me the following alert prompt.
The file was modified oustide of the source editor. Do you want to reload it?

Hi,
This prompt should not be turned off because you could have a lot of problems if you don't reload your code after editing it externally.
However, you should never see such message unless something is misconfigured in your project or you are doing something incorrectly. Are you editing your code using an external editor? Or did you create your project in your web server folder instead of My Documents?

The issue happens on all the machines that I work with.
Im not editing externally. I did do a search on google about the error and saw someone posting a solution for this type of issue regarding .net studio's ide from microsoft. So wasnt sure if this was a similiar issue im experiencing.
I have my site in c:\\inetpub\wwwroot

chadastrophic,
Then this indeed is the problem. Please never store your projects in c:\\inetpub\wwwroot as this folder must be used only for publishing your code, not for working with your projects. By having such unusual configuration you are indeed overwriting your project files every time you publish a page. I'm glad you see such message, otherwise you wouldn't know that you have a problem.
