Has anybody ever tried to extend CCS? if you've tried or want to try this topic is for you. For example, you need some functionality that CodeCharge Studio does not have. As i know through the years of working with CCS, CodeCharge Studio is very flexible and you can extend it by yourself! Just try it by creating a simple IDE dialog: http://starikovs.com/2009/11/21/creating-dialog-in-ccs/. It's a first step where you may start to learn how to extend CCS :-)

Thanks for sharing, and excellent English!

Details on extending CCS are available in the downloadable SDK in the
online customer area.

Yes, you can get some information on extending CCS in the SDK but often you want to analize some examples to understand things deeper, so this is the aim of my article.

The real fun stuff is in the CCL files. The information in the SDK is pretty hopeless.

Really great article.
It explains a very complex area easily.. I wish this article was around years back.

This is a great thing, a missing in doc.

Can you make a dialog box that would create from any/current project a template project ?

As some ready to use projects that comes with CCS.
This is what I’m missing in CSS (last 7 years have been waiting for this.)

I could make by placing and editing files manually but still did not work ok and every new CSS update required editing …
