i have a web portal where field staff upload assessment info including a number of text fields and 4 file uploads. i use some cron jobs to send summary emails at regular periods and some customers also have access to view certain reports.
the uploaded files are stored in the file system (lamp server) and the filename is stored in the database.
i would now like to be able to send a completed job email along with the invoice and all attachments via email. has anyone done this before? eg attaching files from the file system to an email....
