I have a complicated record form that I would like to add a grid to the page without recreating the record.
My problem is adding an Add New link to add a new record. I can't seem to make this work in that when clicked it does not clear the record and place it in 'add ' mode.

I have a serial primary key (pkey) and I have set the link (Add New) with the following parameters:
Href Type: page
Href Source: dural_ectasia.ccp (the current page)
Convert URL to: None
Remove parameters: pkey
Preserve Parameters: GET

thanks,

bernie

preserve parameters: none
when you preserve the parameter the id is being passd to your new grid so you end up in edit mode again...
errrr... re-reading it may be that you have removed the appropriate parameter?

anyways your link is a super basic one - it just has the target page and preserve params: none - nothing else is required.
