Hello,
I've got two list boxes on a form. The master is "States" and the secondary Listbox is a list of counties in each state.
It works... when you select a state, then only those state's counties are in the secondary Listbox.
The problem is during the form update. The original state is listed, and for a few seconds, the county is listed. Then after about 3 seconds, the secondary county field goes back to 'Select Value'.
Do you know of anything that would cause the secondary Listbox to reset?
I'm using SQL Server as a back-end.
Thanks,
Bob

Here is a zipped folder of a simple example project that demonstrates this.
http://www.aysoarea5f.org/DependentListBoxes.zip
Upon edit of the record, the secondary ListBox disappears.

Problem solved... I've spent 6 hours on this, and could have had it fixed in 2 minutes.
I bought CCT Dependent Listboxes Builder from http://codechargetools.com. It can do Ajax for large secondary lists. Works great, only took 2 minutes to install and configure.
