<UPDATED by Marcel on 01/07/2010>
I have tried to integrate CodeCharge and Drupal. See my Tip at http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=109535, I have moved it to Tips & Solutions.
Issues: how to install CC in subdirectory, not correct working PDF and print in Drupal, stylesheet differences, authorization (can be done by cookies).
Who has experience in combining Drupal and CCS?

I would like to say thanks for your article, it is a great start point for me (working with Drupal).
Also it is good to try the CCK (+ additional fields) and Views.
Basically I'm using Drupal as the frontend for apps, and the CCS for backend like admin.mydomain.com. Using drupal DB in CCS is a pain though.
Keep up the good work,

@ quasimidi: I tried the CCK (the toolkit for databases within Drupal) but got the impression that it is nice for flat-files. CCS seems to me far more effective in complex relational datamodels, with many crosslinks. As you do, I also use CCS mostly for backend functionality, because of the poor design. I hoped that Artisteer would bring in a solution for this problem, but support for CCS is still not good enough.
Here you can find an example, it is a screendump because my Drupal site is still under construction. http://www.ccoverheid.nl/integrate_drupal_cc_ccdata_example.jpg
It is also an example of the use of Artisteer with Drupal. Its so easy, just export Artisteer layout to the Drupal-directory "themes" and you can use it in Drupal. That is what I like to have for CCS!

Hmmm, good job!
Nice layout, with nice colours! Keep it going Marcel!
Right now, I'm poking around the authentication in CCS using Drupal. It might be simple, basically I have to modify the CCLoginUser($login, $password) function to get it work in the Common.php file.
There are plenty of Drupal functions to check user access: http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/modules--user--user.module/6 . try to come up with a complete solution for authentication, roles, as well as a custom module to integrate CCS pages into Drupal.

That would be nice, the right way to integrate should be in a module in Drupal. I have no experience in hook a module. Good luck!

marcel,
This is a good solution for the Tips & Solution area of the forums. When you get a quick moment please post it there. Thanks.

Marcel, by next week's monday, I have an alpha drupal module which integrates CCS pages. As soon as I finish it, I want to send it over so you can test it, and let's see how it goes.

Dear all,
I'm very new in CCS but have implemented the first data-base-driven pages for an important project.
And I'm very impressed of the power of CCS.
I'm also using Artisteer and Drupal for the common look and feel.
So I'm very interested in the modul for Drupal.
Is it possible to send me this modul?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
