Its for both.
I have since this question installed XAMPP but I see it is for development.

You can use things like XAMMP or WAMP for a production environment, you
just have to go through the configs and tighten things up a bit. It
will get you in the door, now you just have to lock the door behind you.

I understand.
I generated a example PHP Forum using Application Builder. It has
Publishing to "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\FORUM"
Publish Project - 0 critical error(s), 0 error(s), 0 warning(s)
but when I click on home page in a browser the URL is: http://localhost/FORUM/Default.php
and it displays:
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.
Error 404
localhost
1/20/2010 8:39:06 AM
Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8l mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.3.1 mod_apreq2-20090110/2.7.1 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.10.1
localhost goes to: http://localhost/xampp/
and displays: XAMPP for Windows
I can find where I change http://localhost\ to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\
Any thoughts>
Thanks.

If you used wamp you have to publish to C:\wamp\www\
So change C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ to C:\wamp\www\
Not sure how Xamp works but it may be similar.

For XAMPP (assuming you kept the default installation) you should post all web files to "c:\xampp\htdocs". XAMPP out of the box is for development but if you wish to use it for Production then read the "readme_en.txt" file in the XAMPP directory. It will give you information on harding the installation for Production use.

mamboBROWN:
I republished the example to: C:\xampp\htdocs\ and it works.
I have an iSeries 270 that I have a ODBC setup for telnet sessions. I created another ODBC connection called JMALIB. I tested it with winsql using: select * from jmalib.progdef and it worked OK.
In CodeCharge Studio 4.3 I have in the Design:
connection name: JMALIB
Database: DB2
use ODBC Data Source Name: JMALIB
JMALIB is configured using Client Access ODBC driver(32-bit) assigning Data Source Name: JMALIB
System: 192.168.1.107
Server
Naming Convention: SQL naming convention(*SQL)
SQL default library: QGPL
Library list: JMALIB
Connect type: Use ODBC access mode
Connection Server has:
PHP Library: ODBC Database: DB2
Database or ODBC connection name: JMALIB
When I click OK on the connection, I get no errors.
When I publish the application I get:
Generating "PROGDEF_list"
Publishing to "C:\xampp\htdocs\JMADOCS"
Generating "PROGDEF_list"
Generating Common Files
Generating "Header"
Generating "Footer"
Publishing to "C:\xampp\htdocs\JMADOCS"

Publishing to "C:\xampp\htdocs\JMADOCS"
Publish Project - 0 critical error(s), 0 error(s), 0 warning(s)
but when I take the selection: Live PROGDEF_list in a browser I get the error:
Warning: odbc_connect() [function.odbc-connect]: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified, SQL state IM002 in SQLConnect in C:\xampp\htdocs\JMADOCS\db_odbc.php on line 58

}
foreach ($this->Options as $option) {
@odbc_setoption($this->Link_ID, $option[0], $option[1], $option[2]);
}
$this->Connected = true;
}
}
I get the error in --line58-- above. It is like its not passing the right signon and database parms.
Any ideal what could be wrong.

jmartin,
It appears that you have everything setup correctly. Do you also have "use ODBC cursor" checked as well?? If you do uncheck it and try it again or if you don't then check it and try again. Let me know what happens.
I'm also assuming that you have the ODBC (JMALIB) created on the computer where you uploaded the code.

I found out that I needed to setup the DSN in the ODBC configuration.
everything works Ok now.
I do wish it was easier to add a background image to the style sheet or somewhere for the body of each document to have a certain look. Like my website has a textured background. I use a RAD tool that has a template that I modify to obtain the look I want. It generates:
as an example the body statement <body background="Brown_bg.gif"> or like the statement:
<body onload="na_preload_img(false, 'nav_17_network_chr.gif', 'nav_19_business_cvr.gif', 'nav_17_personal_chr.gif', 'nav_19_synopsis_cvr.gif', 'nav_19_summary_cvr.gif', 'nav_19_resume_cvr.gif');" background="Brown_bg.gif">
Have a great day.
Thanks.
James

Hello Martin,
Have you tried this one? http://www.uniformserver.com/
I have used for years with no problem, very nice, simple, unobtrusive and stable.

I found where you can change the background on a docment.
when you click on the document in the project explorer it opens the document in the document window. There you can do a right click on the document and go to the background tab and it will let you select a image for the background which is what I wanted.

james - set the background in the style sheet - you dont need to update every page then.

I tried to find where you could modify the style sheet but the background selection does not give you the option of using a image?
Is there another place?
James

This worked.
By editing the Style.css and the Style_doctype.css
I replaced ..... :
.PageBgColor {
background-color: #e6decf;
}
with.....:
.PageBgColor {
background-image:url('Images/Brown_bg.gif');
}
and I added to.....:
body {
font-family: Arial; font-size: 80%;
}
This.....:
body {
background-image:url('Images/Brown_bg.gif');
font-family: Arial; font-size: 80%;
}
Thanks for the help.
James
