I created ODBC connection to IBM iSeries Library. I then created a New Project selection application builder. I chose to generate PHP4/PHP5 with templates my security method was none with no groups and the style was Basic.

I configured a new database connection selecting new database connection. I selected DB2 for the Databasein the ODBC for the design mode. providing User name and password. for the server I selected PHP library ODBC Database DB2 and provided the database (ODBC) connection name. with login and password.

In Step 3: Builder Options Dialog Settings I unchecked enable smart naming and autoincremented primary keys.

Step 4: Setting Security I unchecked Use Authentication.

Step 5: Selecting Database Table and Field Settings I selected 9 tables
with grid pages and Record Maintenance/view page. I checked Grid, Search, Record and Updateable.

It ask for primary key but It only let me select one field.

When I tested the application it work OK but updated all the records matching the primary key instead of the individual record?

Can any one tell me how you can define multi field for the key at application build time or after?

James

jmartin,
I would contact support ( http://support.yessoftware.com ) and see if there is a way to select multiple columns as the primary key (during build time). I was able to recreate your scenario and came across the same issue as you that is why I am suggesting that you contact Yes support and see what they have to say. Please let us know on this thread as well.
