Hi everyone,
I am a php newbie and thought I'd try Code charge. But after creating a page, I see it doen't publish.
I'm working with Oracle 10g database.
The Local/Network server is active
Server path: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\NewProject1 http://localhost/NewProject1
and I've set files to publish : all files with extensions .............
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, that no files are published?
Not really a programmer, but I have to do a project for school
I feel so helpless right now.
any help is appreciated, thanks

Start by browsing in Windows Explorer to your file location
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ and make sure the folder NewProject1 is there. If
it is not there, create it.
If it is there, look in it to see if there are any files there, such as
Common.php, Classes.php, etc.

Yes, the project exists there and I see the files that you mentioned.

Then the files are indeed getting published. What made you think they
weren't getting published? Are you attempting to open a page you
created and it's not showing anything?

Did you check your server's error log? For example %apachedir%/logs/error.log if you're using apache

Hi Bart00,
Doesn't the program come with its own local server, well at least that's what I thought.
I recently installed apache and then published the files again. The files were then published in the folder C:\Inetpub\wwwroot, so I copied them to the apache htdocs folder. If I launch the files from there, I do see hem in my browser.
I just checked the error log, haven't seen anything out of the ordinary.
Was hoping I could see then in code charge's internal browser when going to live page.
Do you have any ideas?

Hi,
What OS you have?
I had similar experience using Windows 7. I had to turn off (ot at least set to the minimal protection) the UAC, so the files got published properly.
