On one server we upgraded to CCS 4.3, and projects that were in 4.1 successfully converted.

On the current server I am having an issue with, converting older projects to CCS4.3 results in this error when using the web browser:

Microsoft VBScript runtime  error '800a01b6'

Object doesn't support this property or method: 'Response.CodePage'

/postpursuit/Classes.asp, line 1193

I noticed that when I opened the old project in CCS 4.3 for the first time, it didn't ask if I wanted to backup the project before conversion. It didn't do anything, it just loaded the project. So I hit "Publish Project", to publish the whole thing.

Server info: Windows 2000 SP4, 500 MB RAM, mySQL for databases. Previous installation of CCS was 4.1

I think Windows 2000 use IIS5.

you need IIS5.1 and UP for response.codepage
and if my memory don fail you cannot install IIS5.1 Nither 6 on 2000.
(not sure so)

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms525789.aspx

When a script is executed, IIS determines how characters are encoded using the following hierarchy:

    *

      On IIS versions 5.1 and later, IIS uses the Response.CodePage property if it is explicitly set. Else,
    *

      If Sessions are enabled, and Session.CodePage is set explicitly, Session.CodePage sets Response.CodePage. Else,
    *

      If @CODEPAGE is defined at the top of the page, @CODEPAGE sets Response.CodePage. Else,
    *

      If the AspCodePage metabase property for the application is set to something other than 0, AspCodePage sets Response.CodePage. Else,
    *

      The Web server's default system code page sets Response.CodePage.

Thanks Oper. I will check and see what's going on on this particular server.

Was this a new thing (IIS 5.1) that was added to CCS between 4.1 and 4.3? or 4.0 and 4.3? I can't remember if I had 4.0 or 4.1 installed on this server before I put 4.3 on it.

But thanks for this information. This will help out! :-)

Oper, that was the issue.

We were actually moving to a new server anyway, so I installed CCS4.3 on the new one, and migrated all of the apps from the old server to the new one, and it's working fine now. Thanks!
