As a web developer, I've been asked to build a custom IPIX 360 degree real estate virtual tour portal for a photographer. I need to know if there are any third party or CCS sharing places on the internet where the basic structure of such a portal can be purchased/shared.

Also, if there is no such place or application available, how can I integrate 360 Panorama stitched virtual tours into an custom built CCS application I build from scratch? Has anyone out there attempted this or knows what has to be done? Would anyone out there be willing to assist with coding of this project if I take it on?

Most of the times panorama is just a jpeg file which is loaded into java applet with some params - very easy to do in DW.

If this is going to be a showcase for one photographer it will be a rather easy project but if multiple photographers will be uploading jobs ... it could be a drag...
It all depends on what kind of functionality this photographer wants and what level of automation is needed.

Hey GeorgeS,

Thanks for your post and your input. I greatly appreciate your willingness to share your insight.

The application is basically for one photographer but he wants a backend admin for several listing agents he wants to allow the upload of their own Panorama photos to their listing pages.

He also wants several tools such as shown on this site page: http://www.visualtour.com/applets/flashviewer2/viewer.asp?t=2003787&sk=42

The functionality sounds rather complex and beyond the scope of my abilities but I don't want to so easily pass-up the 10K budget for this one.

Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Always,

JoJoDancer
