Most links and submits in CCS allow you specify if the parameters are preserved - i.e. if the current list of parameters appended to the current URL. I have built a menu with the menu builder that works fine except that when I click on a menu item to go to a search page, I would like the search page to be blank and not include previous search criteria. Can't find a way to say don't preserve previous parameters. Can anyone help out? Thanks.

steveadams617,
You have to use the object explorer on the left of CCS. Click the + next to the page name and keep clicking +'s until you see your menu and the menu item. Click on the menu item and you will see the properties you are used to seeing for a link.

Hi!
according to the previous post, when you see the element of your menu as a link (on the left board of CCS), you just click on it and you go to the right board (in the properties) and you set the property "Preserve Parameters Property" to None.
PS: After this, your menu will no more preserve any parameter.
If you don't want your menu to lose parameters, don't follow this instruction and go to the page where you want to make research and in the "beforeShow" event, you use the function "CCRemoveParam Function" (Check the manual for the syntax)
I hope that it will help you.
Sorry for my english, i speak french and i hope that you got the main idea of what i wanted to say
