 Search problem with SQL Query

Qhen i use an application builder (GRID BUILDER) and i use the BUILD QUERY for my SQL (and not select a table), and i click on "next", when i try to click on "SEARCH BOX", i canīt put any opcion. But, when i select a table for grid and not a SQL query, works fine...
