When a user selects a record from a grid to be displayed in a form is there a way (php, html, javascript) to change the color of the selected row (record) ?

Is the grid and form on the same page?? If so you could set the grid to read from the record id in the url and if there is a record id then set a div tag or something for the selected row/record.

I'm not very experienced with div tags but I understand what you're suggesting. I'll try it.
