Hi, I hope I'm in the right place.
I downloaded Codecharge about 12 days ago and installed it. Unfortuantely, I had to attend a funeral and just got back today, when I fired up Codecharge all was well.
Started going over the tutorials and decided to jump in.
I tried to create a connection string and tested it fine. When I clicked OK, I got an error indicating tha the connection string was invalid (actually it's empty).
So I created a DSN and tried again. When I do this, I get the tables listed for my SQL server, but not all the columns.
I removed and reinstalled still the same results.
I found a post or two that a respondant suggested that the poster (in one of the posts) had an illegal copy. This can't be the case here as it was just downloaded and I still have 19 days. In fact, I just downloaded it agani prior to this post.
Also, when creating a connection, I don't have an option to select SQL Server, I have to choose one of the ODBC options.
I use ASPrunner and ASPmaker currently and I can select SQL Server as a connection option in those tools, so I'm thinking that something is wrong. Perhaps I'm missing something in creating the connection.
I've tried disabling my AVG and Malware Bytes thinking they might be causing an issue.
is there something else I can try - perhaps hard code the connection in a config file or something.
I have 19 days left on the trial, so I don't think that time is an issue.
Info: Windows XP (fully patched SP3 and all updates), DotNet is up to date, I ran the MS malicious software tool - clean as a whistle, so I don't think that's an issue.
Thanks and if I'm in the wrong forum, please advise as to the correct one. Looking forward to trying this product.
Marda.

UPDATED information:
I just installed CC4 on another machine and it works fine. So there must be something on my laptop that is causing an issue.
Again I've scanned with every tool we have and nothing bad found. I'd like to get this to work on my laptop as I travel a lot and would like to try while I'm on business.
Also, I said in my post I had 19 days lefts, that's a typo - it's 9, so the urgency is up one level.
Thanks again.
