I have a screen that has become involved and it's purpose was to insert records into a table. I've never checked it's ability to do that, been too busy getting all the other things needed done. Now that I'm closing in on the end it doesn't add records. Early on I said "N" on insert, update, and delete capabilites on the record control and deleted the buttons. I've since turned on the insert capability and add a button. Everything looks like it will work but it's now.
Do you think I need to start over? Or is there something else I can try?

I found out my own answer.
I created two identical Maint Pgms using the Application Builder. Then went in and set insert, update, and delete to NO in the record control, removed all three buttons. Then compared the two HTMLs and PHP files. Only difference in the HTML was the Buttons, but in the PHP the one I removed stuff in removed 500+ lines of code dealing with insert, update, delete ops and buttons.
Then I went back into the pgm I removed stuff on and changed insert, update, & delete back to YES. checked the differences again, it had loaded back about 400+ lines of code identical to the code original taken out. Then I added back in the buttons, matching back to the original names and settings. When finished I had a matching line count in both PHP and HTML sets of pgms. I used a tool called active file compare to compare the two files and except for shifting a few button lines of code down a few lines, it was identical.
I have a great deal more confidence in having done this research and now will get my original problem solved soon by just relying on CCS to do it's thing.
