I have a page with 10 tabs(!) each tab has either a grid or form or both. It takes 9 mins for any change I make to take place on the the design page! If I add an element, delete something...9 mins...hahaha...CCS...I love it

Have you tried to put forms/grids into includes? Should speed things up...

Just doing that now, thanks. It's how I usually do it but this is an old project - didn't have the knowledge when I started it.

The only problem and the reason why I did it this way was cos you can't have update panels in an include in a tab!!!!

Sorry! I was wrong you can use update panels you have to put them in the tabs then put the include inside that.

for local Aplication is ok.
but for Outside in a WEB/Extranet Enviromente 10 TAB (loading 10 Apliaction the amount of Data will be Huge!!
I Really Prefer the use of 10 Button on top "make similar a TAB" and load app on Click

i know still is huge when over 50k page. :)
we have a grid with 160 Column that we normaly make visible or invisible each one of then have panel. its A pane the editing
the amount of time editing is huge, we just order high end performance laptops for our company just casue the time that take to edit during design some FORM. just waiting 30sec to modify a field gimme a headache, i cant image 9min :)
the include work ok for forms, but for grid not worthy. so i hope new Laptop resolve somethign if the issue.

160 Columns ... you must crazy :)
Here is why support for controls will be great. Maybe in CCS 7 :)

My tabs only have record forms in them. The page loads in 5.8 secs which for an app is fine:)
