I use code charge to develop web based applications and it's brilliant, I can do anything!
However, I use Concrete5 to develop web sites cos it's easy and clean, and the way it works with templates is very flexible.
I have a job come in which the client refers to as a website, but in fact its closer to an application and all the interaction between pages and their elements is perfect for CCS development, not C5
Has anyone else got round this problem of wanting a clean CSS driven site whilst having the functionality the CCS offers?

Pls, buzz me if you find something.
Currently I'm working with developers of DHTMLX.com to generate DB-driven grids and forms. Takes time and money. Once this is done, I'll try to use it in my company as a web-app platform.
So far we were using CCS, but it seems CCS (Yes) is not moving fast enough.

Yeah, the DHTMLX isn't what I want. I want a web site that has all the power of a CCS application.
I think I've cracked it though. Today we have been building a site using codecharge to deal with all the data stuff. Then we built simple CSS containers to replace the html stuff CCS creates.
We haven't gone for Artisteer or any of the frameworks to build the xhtml/CSS just simple stuff styled in StyleMaster.
Using the CMS we built in codecharge it looks like we will be able to do what we want.
I'll keep you posted.

If you're waiting on YS, you're moving backwards! :)

I think both of you need to learn how to integrate CCS with any other Editor you are using. You can integrate CCS with C5 and get what ever you want. Use CCS to develop the interactions, function and control then use C5 for your CSS and other web interface design you want.
