I am using Dependent Listboxes with an Editable Record.
The slave listbox seems to be working fine, however, when the master is on the default "select value" option, not all of the possible options on the slave show up. Only the first few (40 or so), as if there is a LIMIT being applied.
All of the options are not accessible unless the appropriate master option is selected. When the master is on "deault" I want to be able to access all of the slave options.
This wouldn't be so bad, but when I go to edit an existing record, if that record's option is not listed within the first 40 or so options on that listbox, the listbox blanks out, and if the record is saved again, I lose the value stored in that listbox.

Hello Olfaja,
Iīve experience exactly the same on my developing project,
the solution was quite easy, on parent window I had two fields
field 1 and field 2 and then a link to a pop-up window,
on the pop-up window I had to develop a search form
in the way than in the grid i get all avalaible fields from
the search fields criteria, then when you clicked on
one of the results, it returns to the parent window and
throw the results over field 1 and field 2,
Between lines this is what i did, but I strongly recommend you
to check the examples from codecharge and read it carefoully
the pop-up window ones, itīll resolve your issue.
This comes because a bug on the codecharge dependant list boxes,
which still havenīt resolved.

Hello Olfaja,
Are you still experimenting this problem? I had the same problem and found the solution.
In order to stop limiting your ListBox showing only some records, you need to change the "Records Per Page" property in the service .cpp created when you add a Dependant ListBox.
If you have any questions, write me back.
