What is the danger of deleting this file found in the CCS root folder?

It gets very large (65Mb.) and I was wondering if you deleted it, would the system start up another smaller one perhaps making things a bit faster?

Thanks,

Trevor

That's an installation log I believe. Check the datestamp on your's.

Make a backup of the file. Then, empty it out.

Thanks for the reply.

The date stamp on that file is always current when I use the system so I think something is being written to that file all the time.

I will try emptying it out and see what breaks.
