You mean the backend Jan?
Well same concept as we originally had (2+ years ago me and PBrad) with CCS being the major part of the system that way we get so much more than a CMS.
So you create functional blocks, and container page(s) where you could position them that's it.
Then a really simple content input area for the maintenance.
The client could add pages if you chose to build the system that way. Or maintain content on separate pages (the way my site is built).
It's really all about CCS and what it can do.
You have to frig about and get rid of the tables etc. and add all your own CSS stuff - We just used codelobster to do this, but you could use anything including the styles from CCS .
The concept was always very simple. You build blocks which you put into one or a number of container pages and layout with CSS
How it will work for us is we will have a base CCS project (which will change as we devevlop more blocks) and that is the starting point for each job.
It's currently in a bit of a state but as soon as it's ready I'll add a link.

The link doesn't show up in some newsgroup readers (such as
Thunderbird). Have to go to the online forum.
Nice job Waspman.

Hi,
Looks like the project didn't die, we just went offline and each did it ourselves. My CMS is called webPort and I have launched about 15 of them using the core engine and database structure. It looks like Tony is using a directory structure whereas I am running everything through Index.php and Page.php. I have a solid working cms system developed with database driven site menus and backend menus and a series of front-end/back-end modules such as a shopping cart module, broadcast email module, intranet module, blog module, forum module, seo module, faq engine module and quite a few more. I also create custom modules as required in a backwards compliant mode.
Basically for a new project I just copy of the site files and sql dump to a new project, modify the site files and style sheet and I am off and running. Clients can edit all of the site content, add/edit menu items, define meta-tags, send broadcast emails, edit users etc... from the back-end which utilizes a common look/feel and structure to all webPorts.
Here are a few front end examples: http://www.mortgageprotectionplan.ca http://www.ayva.ca http://www.benesure.com http://www.durabond.ca http://www.easypooltour.com
I'm happy to share strategies that I used to roll this out if anyone has any specific questions. There are probably better ways to do everything that I have done but what the heck, it works.
Cheers,
Pete

Good stuff Pete. You should move this post over to the 'showcase' group.

Hi Pete, Looks great man!
Yeah it does look like we both did our own thing.
I'm not using a directory structure, In this case I did use different pages cos of how the elements are structured and for better SEO. But it could just as easily be one page like yours. Maybe it's the mod=rewrite that's throwing ya.
Take care my friend and I'll pm the files over when I happy with them...Tony

@MB Sure that was always the intention for me. Providing people would then share back the stuff they added. Not sure how to make this happen any thoughts MB?

There are a couple of ways to do it. You could use the CCS marketplace or you could release as an project on SourceForge or Google project hosting or github. The catch is.....who is going to maintain the project as it goes forward?

For me(I can't speak for Pete) I would put it into the marketplace. My version is primarily built around CCS, so you couldn't use the CMS project it if you didn't have CCS.
As for going forward; I will be using it for all may projects and it will evolve accordingly. The original intention was to build a system that was a simple, flexible project that could simply have blocks added to it. These blocks could be built by me or contributed by other users. We would swap blocks, all friendly like

Waspman,
Sounds like a plan. Maybe you can put it in the marketplace and announce it to the community. I'm positive they will respond.

To whom it may concern
There is a CMS built with Codecharge Studio. It is called KrisonAV CMS and comes with 2 versions
1) Open Source. It does not include codecharge Studio's project files but you can still develop plugins with CCS. KrisonAV CMS can embedded them on the fly!
2) Commercial Version. It includes codecharge Studio's project files for those who feel that KrisonAV CMS does not fully meet their expectations.
Best Regards

Dear KrisonAV users,
KrisonAV CMS 1.0.0 is now available for both Codecharge Studio 4 and 5!
The main and radical change is that KrisonAV CMS supports now multi pages and not just one home page!! This gives you the freedom to create, for example, a page that includes both a poll and an article (related to that poll) or a page that includes both an image slideshow (image rotator) and an article (related to that slideshow) and so on.
Please visit http://www.krisonav.com
Best Regards
The KrisonAV Team
