I will be releasing the site in three phases...Phase 1 involves the CCS community (so get ready gals and guys). I will give more information about Phase 1 within the next few days.

PHASE 1:
Phase 1 will involve the CCS Community. What I am asking of the community is to scour the internet and find video's that you feel are helpful in developing web applications for programming languages that are supported by CodeCharge Studio. You will be able to submit these videos (and or links to videos) to the CCS Tutorial website where they will be reviewed and verified for relevancy. Once approved they will be added to the library of free videos. The objective is to make CCSVideoTutorials the site to goto for CCS video tutorials. NOTE: These can be video links, embeddable videos and or videos that can be hosted by CCSVideoTutorials. If the video (that you recommend) is used, you will receive recognition on the CCSVideoTutorial site. All recommendations can only be accepted by registered members (registration is free). There will be two levels of membership (Free and Gold). For Phase 1 only Free members will be able to register. The Phase 1 version of the site will be released in the next couple of weeks. So please stay tuned and get ready.

Hello mamboBROWN,

Maybe I totally misunderstood your last post...

My assumptions (maybe bad), or questions:
1. you plan to have Free and Gold membership. Then Gold is kind of different than Free thus means payment
2. you encourage forum membership to collect videos as content to your site, which will be a pay-site later on
3. there will be some more valuable videos - not those which are easily collectable from the net - which made for specific reason, especially on CCS system which have value to pay for it

1. Yes, this is correct.
2. No, this is incorrect. I might not have been clear. All content that is submitted to the site by members will ALWAYS be FREE (assuming that the content itself is free). Only registered members will be able to comment on content. The Gold members will have access to video and code that will be developed by myself. For example, Gold members will receive a free web application which will have videos based on that code. There are more Gold member items but I will get into that later. A couple of reasons for registration is to be able to encourage useful comments as well as reward helpful members. I want a thriving community that will supplement the CCS forums.
3. Almost correct. Gold members will always have access to all free and paid for content while regular members will only have access to free content (NOTE: non-members will have access to the free content as well but they will not be able to comment or receive any rewards). I am looking at charging for 1 year Gold memberships.

Thanks for asking solesz. Hopefully this is more clear.

I don't understand phase 1 where you will ask members of this community to gather content for your new site. and, based on your description it sounds like this content will not be about CCS, rather it will be about programming languages CCS supports. if I need PHP or ASP info I'd think Google would be the place to look. maybe I misunderstood and phase 1 is all about CCS videos on the web but if so, where are these resources?

JimmyCrackedCorn,
Phase 1, is my way to introduce the site and get everyone involved. While I already know of many videos and links there might be content that I missed that might be useful to some one. Yes, you are right, you could go to Google but wouldn't it be nice to have an option that is geared toward CCS.

Thanks for answers.
I have found solutions to answer my all question regarding general programmig problems, therefore I would see rather CCS supporting videos only.

JimmyCrackedCorn,
This site will not only have content for development but it will also include video for other areas such as supporting tools or setting up a development environment or taking a forum thread and making it into a video and the list goes on...

Hey mambo

Why don't you chat Peter up into adding a status field to the forum?
Could have a drop down box with "Unresolved", "Resolved" (and others) as options for the original author or moderator to set?
Could save you a lot of time.

Looking forward to seeing your video site up soon.

tsgroman,
You're right. Sometimes things don't happen the way you want them to (in life) but that doesn't mean that you're intentions aren't in the right place. Hopefully, you will not be disappointed this time.
