hi,
I have 2 tabs, one of which has a record builder and the other a grid. I wanted to know if there is a way to make me go to another tab after inserting in the first tab

Use ixedit and you can hide and show the div's around your data dependent on actions.

PS: you wont need the ajax tabs to do this

It's a jquery tool very nice (easy) endless possibilities and works well with CCS, google it.
