Not sure if this is a CCS bug or something I may or may not be doing so appreciate some advice please.

Selected a table in VQB (from a MSSQL database) and selected the fileds I want and then joined a related table and selected a field in that table. I've then right clicked on that field and added a COUNT function using "Add function to select". This all looks good. What I'm trying to do is have each row in a grid of Clinics show the number of Practitioners in that Clinic in that row.

When I return to the grid and select a field in that grid (in CCS) the Control Source now shows all fields in all tables I've selected, not just the fields I've selected. And my COUNT field is not in the lookup.

Any clues please!

i donŽt know really if iŽve understand what you want to do,

I think count is not the right solution,

i think you should use group by the field

than you want to group, then

youŽll get the expected result.
