I'm starting my website design in Photoshop but I'm confused about my overall background image size. should it be 960 pixels wide at 72pixels resolution? Or does my resolution need to be higher? Like 960 pixels wide at 140 pixels. Keep in mind that this makes the "inches" of my web page wider. I don't know how to do this! Haha http://www.wellnessstarts.com/super-acai-1200-reviews.html

Hi Biddellsmith. I'm also confused on how to design my website using Photoshop. Have you found a simple tutorial on this? Please post it here if you do or please send me via email. Thanks a lot. :)

I am also new in this but I can say one thing that you should select resolution on percentage(%) rather than selecting them on pixels. It may be possible that the picture resolution get stretched on a bigger screen. Other I know one thing that you can create design for your website putting some validation in Photoshop, then you have merge it in platform language which you want to use for your website say PHP or .net or any else.
