How to upload image for JSP Online Bookstore application?

I am working on the older version of the Online Bookstore with jsp, found in the older gotocode.com but I couldn't upload image using the file upload input in the Bookmaint.html & Bookmaint.jsp because when I add in the enctype="multipart/form-data" to the form tag, the form couldn't call the insert method. So are there any workaround methods?
